Friday Announcements 12-3

Today the expected announcement that the formerly Jedi Wizard class will be renamed to Jedi Sage was made official.

The really interesting stuff is in a Dev Blog addressing some details about the Crew Skill (crafting) system. Here we get a better idea that crafting will be a very big part, if we so choose, and that the rewards can be well worth it. More importantly those that choose to pursue crafting more then others will benefit.

Now the only thing I see being a problem with the crafting system, is it seems we will required to choose a specialty, like making armor or blasters. The way things are going so far its going be hard to choose a specialty. We should all see what each other is interested in when the time comes so we can have a self sufficient co-op within the guild.

Too true. And to make it worse the only use of the word Wizard in the movies was Uncle Owen "that wizards just a crazy old man”. That would suggest the word as derogatory and that’s totally the class I want to play, the Crack Pot class.

Yep at least that was taken care of by renaming that. Hopefully with what I've been reading April would be the release data for TOR keeping my fingers crossed!
